Payment Methods
Listed below are the different methods that are available to pay Court fees. These methods, explained below, include payment at the counter (in person), by mail, and by online (e-payments).
At the counter
The staff at the counter will accept payment only for those cases with a valid appellate case number.
Payment is accepted by:
- Cash – please be advised that exact cash is required for all payments, as staff are unable to provide change.
- Check – payable to “Clerk/Court of Appeal” with appellate case number included on the memo line. Checks accepted include personal check, cashier’s check, certified check, traveler’s check, or money order.
- Credit card – credit card payment can be made via Elavon, which charges a non-refundable 2.3% service fee per transaction. Elavon accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Debit cards are also accepted if they contain a Visa or MasterCard logo.
By Mail
Mail the check, along with the appellate case number, to:

There is a non-refundable service fee of 2.3% per transaction charged by Elavon.

Copies: Per transcript - An electronic copy of an existing electronic transcript may be sent via email (if it totals 25 megabytes or less) or duplicated on a court-provided USB device (flash drive). Mailing of the flash drive is included if requested. The fee is per transcript, regardless of page length or number of volumes. | $20 |
Copies: Per case - Electronic copies of existing electronic documents may be sent via email (if they total 25 megabytes or less) or duplicated on a court-provided USB device (flash drive). Mailing of the flash drive is included if requested. | $10 |
