Eileen C. Moore

Justice Eileen C. Moore graduated from University of California Irvine in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and she received her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1978. She was appointed to the Superior Court of California, County of Orange in 1989 and to the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division Three in 2000. She has lectured extensively at education programs for lawyers and judges and has published numerous articles on a variety of legal issues. She has been honored with several awards for her work, including Distinguished Alumni of the Year by University of California Irvine, Alumnus of the Year by Pepperdine University School of Law, and Trial Judge of the Year by Orange County Women Lawyers. Justice Moore also chaired the Orange County Family Violence Council from 1996 to 2000 and was twice honored by the Orange County Board of Supervisors for her efforts.
