William Stein: You were the Presiding J ustice of the First District for a while, weren’t you? Harry Low: Yeah, I was the Presiding J ustice of the First District for a period of time , and I was the Presiding J ustice of Division Five for a period of time . William Stein: Do you want to talk a little bit about the role of the Presiding J ustice? Harry Low: Yeah. The role of the Presiding J ustice is a very interesting role. I think it’s a role that requires a lot of diplomacy and a lot of tact . You have to be able to deal with the other justices , and you have to be able to deal with the staff , and you have to be able to deal with the bar . And I think that it’s a very important role , because the Presiding J ustice kind of sets the tone for the division .
