Roger W. Boren

Justice Roger Wayne Boren was appointed to the California Appellate Court in 1992 and confirmed by the electorate in 1994. He had previously served as a judge in the Superior Court, Municipal Court, and Deputy Attorney General in the California State Department of Justice. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and holds a Master's in International Relations from San Jose State College and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Justice Boren is a Republican and a member of the Latter-Day Saints (Mormon).
