William A. Masterson

William A. Masterson was a retired associate justice of the Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division One. He was appointed by Governor Wilson in 1992, confirmed by the Commission on Judicial Appointments in 1993, and confirmed by the electorate in 1994. He was also a judge of the Superior Court in Los Angeles County from 1988-1993. He worked his way through high school and college as a truck driver and was a member of the California Judges Association, the Commission on Judicial Performance, and the California Judicial Council. He was also a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a former member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
