Rodney Davis

Rodney Davis was appointed to a newly-created position on the Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, by Governor Deukmejian in 1989. He was then confirmed by the Commission on Judicial Qualifications and the electorate. He had previously been a judge in the Sacramento Superior Court and the Sacramento Municipal Court District. He is a former Deputy Attorney General in the California State Department of Justice and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice. He is a member of many organizations and has received many awards. He graduated from Hastings College of the Law, the University of Southern California, and the University of California, Davis. He is a Republican and an Episcopalian.
