On September 24, 2024, a naming ceremony took place at the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division 3, to honor the life and legacy of former California Supreme Court Justice, and native son, Cruz Reynoso. Among the attendees were Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero, three of Cruz Reynoso’s children (Len, Ranene, and Rondall), and 25 other members of the Reynoso family. Additionally, representatives from Federal, State, and County agencies were also at the event, each presenting a resolution from their respective legislative bodies in honor of the courthouse's naming.
