Settlement

This form is used to initiate settlement procedures in an appeal pending in the Fourth Appellate District of California. The parties to the appeal must agree to comply with the Guidelines for this settlement process and participate in good faith in the settlement procedures. They may also stipulate to the appointment of a specific justice as Settlement Justice, but the final decision of who will be appointed rests with the Presiding Justice.
