Jay Ballantyne 6133

Jay Ballantyne was a former Associate Justice on the Fifth District Court of Appeal in California. He was born in Cumberland, Wyoming and his family had a long history in the Mormon Church. He attended high school in Los Angeles, where he was a gymnast and quarterback. He attended Occidental College and the University of Southern California, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. He met his wife, a professional dancer, at a church dance. He went to law school and eventually became an Associate Justice on the Fifth District Court of Appeal.
