Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero, chair of the Commission on Judicial Appointments, announced that the commission today confirmed Judge Tara Desautels as an associate justice of the First District Court of Appeal, Division Two. The appointment was confirmed unanimously. Before her confirmation, Justice Desautels had served as a judge on the Alameda County Superior Court since 2010.
