5th District Programs
Mediation Program
This program enables selected civil appellate cases to be mediated before a sitting Justice of the Court of Appeal. It is available at no cost, provides parties with an early opportunity to resolve their dispute in a convenient venue with the assistance of an experienced appellate jurist.

California Judicial Mentorship Program
This program assists in recruiting and developing a qualified and diverse applicant pool for service on the state’s courts of appeal.
