The Commission on Judicial Appointments will hold public remote hearings on Friday, October 9, 2026, beginning at 9:30 a.m. to consider two appointments to the Second District Court of Appeal by Governor Gavin Newsom.
The following is the morning schedule:
- 9:30 a.m.: Judge Alexander Giza, as associate justice of the Second Appellate District, Division Three (Los Angeles)
- 10:30 a.m.: Judge Cindy Pánuco, as associate justice of the Second Appellate District, Division Three (Los Angeles)
