Fees can be paid by check, money order or credit card. No cash will be accepted.

The court accepts requests in writing for copies of the recorded argument, along with the required $40.00 fee (prior to preparation). The recorded argument can be e-mailed directly to you or burned to a CD (mailed to you or picked up in person).

Fee Waiver Orders from Los Angeles County Superior Court

The Second District Court of Appeal will accept fee waiver orders issued by the Los Angeles County Superior Court for statutory filing fees if the order is dated within six months of your filing date in this court.

If your Superior Court fee waiver order is older than six months, you'll need to submit a new application for fee waiver directly to the Second District.
